Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) –
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who works in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA). RBTs provide direct support services to individuals by implementing treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs at MHS work with individuals aged 3 to 21 who have been diagnosed with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
Their responsibilities include:
- Provide direct support to clients by developing skills and reducing problematic behaviors by using ABA guidelines.
- Collect data on client progress and document accordingly.
- Maintain ethical standards, including supervision requirements.
RBTs must complete training, pass a certification exam, and work under the supervision of a qualified BCBA. Applicants must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a highly trained professional in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA). BCBAs are responsible for designing and overseeing individualized treatment plans to support individuals with Autism or other developmental disabilities. At MHS, BCBAs work with clients ranging in age from 3 to 21, ensuring they receive the highest quality care tailored to their unique needs.
Their responsibilities include:
- Developing and supervising ABA treatment plans to help clients build essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Providing guidance and oversight to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff.
- Collecting and analyzing data to monitor client progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Ensuring ethical standards are upheld and maintaining compliance with professional regulations.
BCBAs must hold a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis, meet educational requirements, and pass the BCBA certification exam.
Certified QBA & QMHA Specialist (BST/PSR) – Rehabilitative Mental Health (RMH)
This full-time role involves delivering Basic Skills Training (BST) and Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) services according to individualized treatment plans, in close collaboration with clinical and direct supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver BST and PSR services tailored to each client’s needs.
- Collaborate with clinicians to develop, implement, and review treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with therapists and clinical staff.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for timely attendance at appointments.
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse healthcare team.

Licensed Clinical Therapists & Interns (LCPC, LMFT, and LCSW) – Mental Health Program
This role offers Licensed Clinical Therapists and Interns (LCPC, LMFT, and LCSW) the opportunity to provide evidence-based therapeutic services within our Mental Health Program. In this position, you will deliver individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions and collaborate closely with clinical supervisors and the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one, couples, family, and group therapy sessions using practices tailored to each client’s needs.
- Perform clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address mental health challenges.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Maintain comprehensive, timely, and confidential clinical records in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with emerging therapeutic practices.
Qualifications:
- Active license or in the process of obtaining licensure as an LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for any on-site requirements.
