Therapy Services

Mingo Health Solutions (MHS) specializes in treating trauma, crisis, and behavior intervention. Our clinicians are certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Telehealth therapy is effective for anxiety, depression, and life transitions, allowing you to connect with your therapist from the comfort of your home using a computer, tablet, or smartphone. We provide outpatient therapeutic and counseling services to help those dealing with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs learn coping techniques to stabilize themselves. Our services address issues such as depression, anxiety, anger management, attention deficits, and mood disorders, often resulting from trauma. Community Health Workers

A Community Health Worker (CHW) is a frontline public health worker who is a trusted member of and/or has a close understanding of the community served. This trusting relationship enables the CHW to serve as a liaison between health/social services and the community to facilitate access to services and improve the quality and cultural competence of service delivery. Our CHWs facilitate access to necessary resources such as: housing, food, education, employment and healthcare. CHWs evaluate a client’s needs and creates plans to address them, conducts case management, fulfills documentation and reporting requirements, advocates on behalf of clients to reduce and remove cultural and socio-economic status barriers to healthcare, help to care systems and identifies community resources.

At MHS, our CHWs focus more on the mental and behavioral healthcare sector of health. We offer workshops on a variety of topics related to mental health in effort to connect with the community and educate the community on the topic as well as navigating and accessing resources. Our workshops cover a variety of life skills and coping skills that impact mental wellness and we always offer additional resources for those in need. Our CHWs are also trained in intervention skills to improve their ability to work with diverse populations across the mental/behavioral health spectrum.

How to Utilize our CHW Services

You do not have to receive mental health services from us in order to access support from our CHWs. We are here to break barriers, bridge support, and offer help. We care!

If you or a loved one is in need of individual support, call our main line and ask to be connected with our CHW team at 702-848-1696.
