Psychological Testing for Autism
Dr. Mayers brings decades of clinical expertise and now provides psychological testing for autism diagnoses in both English and Spanish. She administers the GARS-3 (Gilliam Autism Rating Scale, 3rd Ed.) and GARS-3S (Spanish) – a validated, efficient tool accepted by Medicaid and many other insurance providers. She also administers other tests (ADHD, etc.) as requested.
Assessments are for ages 2-21 years old. GARS-3 meets criteria of many organizations; however, some may require more comprehensive assessments. Those interested are encouraged to check evaluation requirements before proceeding. For individuals aged 22+, evaluations are intended primarily for enhanced personal understanding and self-awareness.
