Hello, I’m Niakeya Mingo, Senior Community Health Worker

Niakeya Mingo has worked with both of Ms. Mingo’s organizations. She started as a family services specialist with Solutions of Change, a nonprofit. She transitioned to working at MHS in 2021 as an intake specialist. She grew into her role becoming a certified Community Health Worker (CHW), was promoted to lead in 2022, and then promoted to Senior CHW in 2023. Niakeya has supported and worked in many positions in the organization and carries the heart of MHS through her warmth, kindness, and unique ability to establish great relationships with our clients, community, and business partners. Niakeya is an excellent planner, often offers great ideas on ways to improve the organization structure and culture, and is often a “catch all”, doing whatever is needed for the mission to be achieved.
