MHS specializes in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) working with children who have diagnoses on the Autism Spectrum. Our love for working with children diagnosed with mental and behavioral health disorders ignited the expansion of our services to include children with ASD because we are committed to rehabilitation so children can meet their optimal level of functioning.
ABA applies data-driven interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree, and to demonstrate that the interventions employed are responsible for the improvement in behavior.
MHS offers ABA therapy services in home children and teenagers up to age 19 provided by behavior interventionists and Registered Behavior Technicians under the supervision of our Licensed Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Our behavior technicians undergo intensive initial training with ongoing professional development training in group and individual sessions to ensure they are competent, qualified, and skilled to provide family needs for ideal progress and sustained behavior changed.
We are invested to providing the highest quality care and service, thus expecting and facilitating consistent family/parental participation in service. MHS ABA services include 1:1 intensive therapy and social skills in group settings when appropriate. Treatment plans are based off individually designed programs specific to the child needs aimed to remediate deficits in a structured settings.
